NTA Releases Tentative Exam Calendar 2026–27: JEE Main, UGC-NET, CMAT & CUET-PG Dates Announced

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released its tentative examination calendar for the period from December 2026 to March 2027. The schedule covers major national-level exams including UGC-NET, JEE Main, CMAT, CUET-PG and several others, giving students and institutions an early roadmap for planning.

According to the official notice, the calendar aims to provide greater transparency, predictability and convenience to candidates.

UGC-NET (December 2026 Cycle)

Main dates: December 14 to 19, 2026

Buffer dates: December 20 and 21, 2026

Joint CSIR-UGC NET (December Cycle)

December 20 and 21, 2026

JEE Main 2027 – Session 1

Exam days: January 22, 23, 24 and January 28, 29, 30, 2027

Buffer date: January 31, 2027

This six-day window is one of the most closely watched schedules for engineering aspirants. Session 2 dates have not yet been announced and are expected later (typically in April).

CMAT 2027

CUET-PG 2027

March 1–5, March 8, March 12–20, and March 24–25, 2027 (spanning 17 examination days)
