The Paradise Budget Reportedly Pegged at ₹90 Crore, Marking a Major Production Scale for Nani

Natural Star Nani’s upcoming action drama The Paradise is generating significant attention ahead of its theatrical release, with reports putting the film’s budget at around ₹90 crore. The project is directed by Srikanth Odela, marking their second collaboration after Dasara.

The film has attracted interest not only because of Nani’s striking transformation but also because of its large-scale action backdrop. Nani appears in a rugged new look, with long braids and a muscular physique, representing a character that is considerably different from several of his earlier roles.

The Paradise is being mounted as an ambitious Telugu action drama and is expected to explore themes involving a marginalised community, family relationships and resistance. Director Srikanth Odela has described the story as an emotional and revolutionary one, with the relationship between a mother and son forming an important part of the narrative.

The film’s reported financial scale has also become a talking point in the Telugu film industry. However, different reports have quoted different budget figures, so the ₹90-crore figure should be treated as a reported estimate rather than a confirmed official production budget. Other recent reports have placed the film’s cost considerably higher.

The movie has already generated interest in the trade as well. Reports in July said that the Nizam theatrical rights were acquired for a reported ₹37 crore, although such trade figures are reported estimates unless officially confirmed by the makers.

Nani has also spoken about the demanding production process, calling The Paradise the most physically and mentally tiring film of his career. He has confirmed that the movie contains major action sequences while dismissing some social-media claims about an underwater sequence and a 1,000-person fight.

With the film scheduled for a September 24, 2026 theatrical release, attention is now focused on its final promotional campaign and the response to Nani’s new screen avatar.
