Future City Master Plan to Be Unveiled at Invest Telangana Global Summit: Revanth Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced that the master plan for the proposed Bharat Future City will be unveiled during the Invest Telangana Global Summit-2026 in December. The announcement was made on September 17 while addressing the state’s Praja Palana Dinotsavam celebrations.

The proposed Future City, being developed on the outskirts of Hyderabad, is planned across nearly 30,000 acres and is envisioned by the state government as a net-zero smart city. The project is expected to include dedicated zones covering areas such as artificial intelligence, life sciences, electric vehicles, healthcare and education.

According to the Chief Minister, the proposed development will include the Young India Skills University, Life Sciences Hub, EV Park, AI City, Health City and Education City. These specialised zones are intended to bring together technology, education, healthcare and emerging industries within the planned urban development.

Future City has also emerged as a proposed destination for large data-centre investments. Revanth Reddy said TCS has come forward to establish an AI data centre with an investment of ₹70,000 crore, while Amazon has already begun construction of a data centre with an announced investment of ₹1 lakh crore.

The government has also linked Future City with broader infrastructure plans, including the Regional Ring Road, greenfield highways, dry ports and industrial corridors connecting Hyderabad with Nagpur, Bengaluru and Vijayawada.

The master plan is expected to provide more clarity on the proposed layout, specialised zones, infrastructure and investment opportunities within Future City when it is presented at the December summit.

The Telangana government has announced that the Invest Telangana Global Summit-2026 will be held from December 7 to 9 at Bharat Future City.
