Bollywood actor Nushrratt Bharuccha has returned home after undergoing successful spine surgery following an accident during a trip to Bali. Her team confirmed on October 15 that she had been discharged from the hospital and would continue her recovery at home.
In a statement, the actor’s team said the surgery had gone well and described the period following the accident as challenging. Nushrratt is now surrounded by her loved ones as she focuses on healing and regaining her strength.
Recovery to Take Time
The team clarified that the actor’s complete recovery will take time, while expressing confidence in her positive approach. It also thanked fans and well-wishers for their messages, prayers and support during the difficult period.
Nushrratt reportedly suffered a spinal fracture in Bali on October 1, 2026. She was initially treated there before being airlifted to Mumbai for further medical care and surgery. The exact circumstances of the accident have not been publicly disclosed.

During her hospital stay, Nushrratt shared glimpses of her recovery journey on social media. In one update, she posted a message about watching the song Gerua, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in Dilwale, and described herself as “healing slowly, dreaming endlessly.”
Her updates offered reassurance to fans as she navigated treatment. For now, the actor is concentrating on recovery, with her team indicating that returning to full strength will take time.
