India’s growing range of app-based services has impressed a Polish woman who recently discovered that she could order printed photographs through Blinkit and have them delivered to her doorstep within minutes.

Dominika Patalas-Kalra shared her experience in an Instagram video, describing India as digitally advanced after discovering a service she had not expected to find on a quick-commerce platform.

A Surprising Discovery on Blinkit

While browsing Blinkit, Dominika came across an option to order printed photographs. The service offered different formats, including large, square, album and Polaroid-style prints.

Curious to try it, she ordered three photographs in different formats. The estimated delivery time was around 21 minutes, making the experience particularly convenient.

Impressed by the Print Quality

When the order arrived, Dominika examined the photographs and expressed surprise at their quality. She reportedly paid approximately ₹100 for the prints.

Her reaction highlighted how everyday services available through Indian apps can surprise visitors who are unfamiliar with the range of options offered by quick-commerce platforms.

Social Media Users React

Dominika’s video attracted attention online, with users discussing the convenience of having photographs printed and delivered without visiting a shop.

Some commenters said they had already been using similar services, while others welcomed the growing range of tasks that delivery apps can handle.

How Quick Commerce Is Expanding

Quick-commerce platforms are increasingly moving beyond groceries and household essentials to offer additional services. Blinkit’s Print Store, for example, provides printing options through its app, with delivery available in supported locations.

These services appeal to people who need everyday items quickly, although availability and delivery times can vary by location and order.

A Glimpse of Everyday Digital India

Dominika’s experience reflects how digital services can make routine tasks simpler for residents and visitors alike. From ordering essentials to arranging printouts, app-based services are becoming part of everyday urban life.

Her discovery also shows how seemingly small conveniences can become talking points online, offering an unexpected glimpse into India’s evolving digital lifestyle.
