India’s women wrestlers continued their impressive run at the U20 World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia, adding three more medals to the country’s tally.
Mansi Lather won silver in the 68kg category after a narrow 1-2 defeat to China’s Chenling Song in the final.
India also secured two bronze medals. Tanvi Gundesh Magdum defeated Canada’s Agnia Krakovska in the 57kg bronze-medal bout, while Komal beat Hungary’s Eda Balazs in the 59kg category.
The latest results add to a strong campaign for India’s young women wrestlers, who finished second in the women’s team standings with 133 points, behind Japan
